Leaders set the tone. It’s critical for leaders to embrace their role as visionary and strategic but also trusted partners. Leaders must be introspective and demonstrate emotional intelligence to properly engage with direct reports and the entire organization.

 

At PPI, we help leaders clearly understand how they perceive themselves, how they are perceived by others, and how these perceptions relate to their core personality traits. We cross reference this information with desirable and undesirable outcomes to understand the impact of leadership behavior on tangible results.

 

The process we utilize includes pinpointed, behaviorally based questions conducted by trained consultants, valid and reliable 180 and 360 assessments, along with personality instruments. We ensure leaders clearly understand the emotional, cognitive, and physical energy necessary to produce desirable interpersonal relationships with direct reports, peers, their respective boss(es), customers, and others that are critical to the leaders’ and company’s success.  

 

We also complement this process with the proper development and coaching to ensure the leader is holding themselves accountable, but they’re also being held accountable by their direct reports and their respective boss(es). This is a shared, measurable and transparent process.
